Help the Hildebrandt Family Recover After a Devastating Accident

On August 4, 2026, our family experienced the worst day of our lives.

Nicks wife Ashley, and their three beautiful children Bryson, Emery, and Cole, were traveling south to North Carolina to visit family when tragedy struck. Their vehicle hydroplaned, left the roadway, and crashed into a tree.

In an instant, their lives changed forever.

By the grace of God, Ashley and Bryson have now been released from the hospital with minor injuries. While we are incredibly thankful for that blessing, their younger children are still fighting through unimaginable injuries.

Cole is currently breathing on his own but remains in intensive care. He suffered multiple facial fractures, a concussion, deep lacerations throughout his mouth and face requiring extensive stitches, and countless cuts and bruises. He has a long and difficult road to recovery.

Their sweet Emery suffered the most severe injuries. She has a fractured skull, with bleeding, and a popped lung. She remains on a ventilator and is unable to breathe on her own. She is undergoing emergency brain surgery in hopes of saving her life and giving her every chance to recover, releasing her skull off her brain.

As parents, there are no words to describe the fear of watching your children fight for their lives.

While their entire focus is on being by their children’s bedside every minute possible, the reality is that life outside the hospital doesn’t stop. They are now facing:

Extensive medical bills

Ongoing surgeries, rehabilitation, and therapy

Travel expenses while remaining near the hospital

Lost income while caring for their children

Everyday family expenses

Replacing their family vehicle, which was completely totaled in the crash

Anyone who knows Nick and Ashley knows that their family has always come first. They are loving parents who would do absolutely anything for their children. They have also spent their lives helping friends, family, neighbors, and even complete strangers whenever someone was in need, never expecting anything in return. Today, they find themselves in the unimaginable position of needing that same love and support from others.
