Help the Hibble's with Funeral and Travel Costs

With Covid Travel Restrictions Niamh, Anika, Sarah, and Norman are fighting against a wall to be able to get to Australia to grieve with their family. They have filed and are waiting on an Emergency Quarantine Exception for Extreme Circumstances, and hope that they are notified soon that they’ll be free to travel to Australia. However, the costs of traveling to Australia during an era of covid come with some higher than anticipated price tags. Elevated plane costs, mandatory government quarantine housing, and funeral costs just barely start to scratch the surface. That is why we come to you, the community, to ask for your support for this family that has continued to support us.
We’ve all felt the love of the Hibble’s in past years from their continued efforts to benefit GALA, to Norman being a founding member of Covenant of the Holy Madonnas. From community love and support through SLO Tease, Glitterotica, and The Glampede to Norman risking safety to be a Legal Observer during BLM and Racial Awareness Protests - we’ve all felt the monumental love, care, and support that the Hibble’s fuse into their lives and actions. It’s with a heavy heart that we ask for help to make sure that the Hibble’s can properly grieve the loss of their daughter where they need to be, in Australia, with the rest of their family. We ask during this time to give the Hibble’s the privacy and space they need as this was a shocking, traumatic, and above all tragic loss that no one expected.
With love, and support: friends of the Hibble’s.
What will the funds be used for?
Broken down to $4k for each American Hibble (Sarah, Norman, Annika, and Niamh) for a flight, and $1k for mandatory government quarantine in Australia with a $5k surplus for funeral costs. Anything that’s stretch-goaled will be donated to QYouth via GALA.
**This fundraiser is being conducted with the approval and oversight of the Hibble's.**
