Hi. My name is Caitlin Herrin, wife of Matthew Herrin. My husband's father, Perry Herrin, passed away in the late hours on August 4, 2025. He went into the hospital the previous week due to a heart attack and just slowly went downhill from there, ending in multiple organ failure. Unfortunately, this all came on out of nowhere. He was healthy as an ox and nobody expected this to happen so soon.

As far as any of his children have been able to find out, there is not any burial insurance or any type of life insurance policies that Perry had, so unfortunately, this now falls to them. As everyone knows, times are hard. Funerals and burials are expensive, and there are not that many options. There is $1000 needed upfront just to have him brought across state lines to Mississippi because he was at Ochsner's in New Orleans.
