Help the Heron Family Through Vera's Health Crisis

My name is Candace Henderson, I am reaching out on behalf of my cousins Zackery and Terrie Heron and their children. More specifically their oldest (Vera).

A little back story- From mom (Terrie Heron)

This has been incredibly hard. We just cry. Every day, the doctors just tell us more things, and our hearts are breaking for our Vera girl. - Zackery and Terrie Heron (Dad and Mom)

Vera was a happy and healthy 6 year old girl. She loved being outdoors, going to the park, and playing with her twin sisters, Versie and Valerie. 7 months ago, Vera's health started declining. After several doctors gave different diagnoses, nothing was explaining why Vera was and still is experiencing severe pain all over her body. Vera has not been able to attend school or enjoy life.

After multiple hospitizations and tests, Vera has a rare disorder that is causing her lactic acid to be very high, which is affecting her vital organs and blood.

The Heron Family would like to request your support during this difficult time.

On behalf of the Heron family, we are asking for monitory donations and or Dinner drop offs to offset Zack and Terrie so they can be with Vera around the clock at the Hospital and also so Zack can continue to work. (If a meal is something you are interested in doing please reach out to Terrie privately as no one is home to except food and it would need to be prearranged. Terrie has a gluten allergy and a nut allergy, beyond that the rest of their family is allergy free.

I would like to add to this a little something more, Zack and Terrie are the most wonderful parents they have gone to many lengths to provide the best care for not only sweet Vera, but also there twin girls. They work hard everyday to make sure there is food on the table whilst taking care of Vera’s Medical needs. They have been through some of the most trying times but still Carry gratitude in their hearts, integrity in their souls and so much patience exuded to all of their children. But behind closed doors they need us. They need all of our support as family as a friend and as a village. I know they will appreciate every single person who reaches out, who is able to bring a meal or contribute financially. They are both the type of people to give the shirts off their very backs. Now it’s time to come together and support them in their time of need.
