On the evening of April 17, a terrible tragedy occurred which has significantly impacted the beloved Hernandez-Walsh family. Our friend Kevin is now fighting for his life in the ICU.
Upon finding Kevin unresponsive, Nathan (14), Tyler (13) and Trevor (17) worked together as true brothers. They acted quickly by calling 911, and administered CPR until help arrived. Their heroic actions kept Kevin alive.
Although the future is unknown, we believe in miracles. Inez is by Kevin's side in the hospital, day and night, praying for that miracle. We are all praying as well.
With the loss of Kevin's income, and Inez needing to be by his husband's side, the family will need to rely on the support and generosity of family, friends and loved ones. The purpose of this gofundme is to help supplement the loss of income Inez & Kevin's family will experience in the weeks ahead as they navigate this difficult time.
For those of you who know Inez and Kevin, you know they exemplify what it means to give. They give of their time and talent so effortlessly. Whether it's volunteering for sports teams or school committees, serving on boards, baking, sewing, creating, advocating...they are always involved in supporting others.
Their greatest act of love and generosity happened a little over 3 years ago. They opened their home and hearts to foster two little boys, Nathan & Tyler. Once the boys were legally adopted, they opened their home and hearts yet again to Inez's nephew, Trevor. Now, this incredible family of 5 need our support.
