Plea for help for the Medel Family!

Last night, fire ravaged the home of my nephew, Tony Hernandez, where he lives with his wife Enith, their five children and two dogs. Enith’s sister and two children were also over at the time of the fire. Thankfully, they all were able to make it out of a window to safety, but the damage to their home (and their hearts) is severe.

This fund is to help rebuild their home, and their lives. At a minimum to inhabit the house, the home needs a complete electrical rebuild, new windows and new interior rooms. As you all are well aware, the cost for construction materials and labor is increasingly high, and this will be an expensive endeavor - with no insurance available, this is all out of pocket.

This home is also the former residence of our Grandparents, Aurelio & Dora Medel, on Mapleridge in Saginaw, MI. We know they helped guide them to safety.
