On the morning of Friday, December 5th 2025, the Henry family’s life changed in seconds. All six family members were asleep when an electrical fire, started in one of the teenage children’s bedrooms. He had been sleeping when the fire broke out, and the alarm suddenly went off. His mother rushed in, pulled him out of the room, and got everyone downstairs as the flames spread.

The fire moved fast. It destroyed the entire upstairs floor and left two family members with burns. Their 96-year-old grandmother was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation, and the rest of the family is being monitored for injuries and breathing issues.

Right now, the Henry family has lost their home, their belongings, their furniture, and their sense of stability. All six family members are temporarily homeless and trying to figure out their next steps while caring for injured loved ones.
