Hi, my name is Becki, and I am helping my husband's half-brother and his wife with emergency expenses. Joe is in hospice care, with wife Holly taking care of him and two grandsons.
Recently their refrigerator (which they bought in September of 2023) went out and is irreparable.
- They lost $600 in groceries.
- They will need a new refrigerator.
- This past week, their stove shorted out, caused a small fire and will need to be replaced, along with some rewiring.
- They were looking forward to creating a more private space for Joe to live in during what time he has left, but the people who were going to do that for them had to back out.
It's been a trial of faith for the family, and a little boost of support would be a blessing.
