Help the Henkes Rebuild after Zogg Fire
Donation protected
On Sunday, September 27 the Zogg Fire came through Ono and decimated the town. So many homes have been lost. My mother in law, Donelia (Donnie) Henke and her son Travis have lost everything they own. They lost not only their home but Travis's tools, vehicles, four wheelers, dirt bikes and their beloved horse Fawn. There was no time to get anything out. Travis was able to open the gate for the horses but only my niece's horse Gypsy made it out and she is badly burned too. All the family pictures, antiques and heirlooms are gone. Donnie is known for her beadwork and quilts and all of her tools, fabric and patterns are gone. The items Travis uses to earn an income as a small engine mechanic including his tools, welder, air compressor etc are no more. Travis was born and raised in Ono along with his brother, Kris (my husband). I am organizing this fundraiser to help them get back on their feet. They did not have renter's insurance. The money will be used for clothes, household goods and towards the purchase of a trailer so they have somewhere to live. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. The picture is Donnie and her grandson at his high school graduation. All the money will be held in a savings account to purchase a trailer.
