The Hickman/ Hendricks family experienced an extremely tragic event on July 31, 2025. Deshawn Hendricks, the son of Jeanice and Deshawn Hendricks Sr was found unresponsive at work from having a heart attack. His son is to start kindergarten this year but this event has and will keep him from sharing these milestones with him. As of right now, his stay in the hospital and how long is unknown. It has been expressed to us that physical therapy and rehabilitation for his heart will likely keep him from working for at least 6 months. We as a family are reaching out to try and raise funds to assist with his rising medical costs along with regular home expenditures for his son's school year. We are aware times are hard for everyone right now. Any amount would help us reach our goal to pay medical bills.
