Help The Henchman and Family
Donation protected
My name is Icie Rhoer and I am Jordin Hinman's little sister. The reason I have started a GoFundMe for him is because his stubbornness and pride won't allow him to ask for help, even though he needs it. My brother is one of the strongest people I know. Life for him growing up was not an easy one and everything he has accomplished has been on his own. That's where his strength comes from but also where his stubbornness comes from too. Jordin is a husband and a father of 2 with another baby coming in March. His wife, Katy, is an amazing wife and mother who is currently getting her teaching degree. She works as a Behavior Disorder Associate at a local elementary school. They have mortgage, 2 vehicles, and other bills to worry about at this time, on top of Christmas coming. Jordin is a terrific friend and mentor. He inspires so many people to be push through fears, pains, and doubts. He also coaches kids wrestling and is loved by many. If you don't know, my brother is also a mixed martial artist. He grew up wrestling and playing many sports, which makes him a fierce competitor in just about anything. Jordin is respectful and humble in victory and in upsetting defeats. He is a true professional. When it comes to competing he does everything he can to provide for his family first (work, schooling, sports, father/husband duties etc), but he trains his butt off to make sure he is in shape and prepared when it comes to competitions. On Saturday, Nov. 21st he suffered several facial fractures while competing. A very scary thing for all of us because my brother is like Superman to a lot of us. We have seen him in some tough battles but never did we expect an injury like this to happen to him. He has poured everything into this sport for the last 10+ years and to have all of that come to a crashing halt is scary. Jordin is unable to work at the moment and will be off several weeks to months at a very untimely season. I know with the holidays coming up he is worried about his family and their financial outcome at the end of this. There will be lost wages from being unable to work and of course the medical bills. My brother gives so much to everyone else that I am hoping that we can ease some of his and his family's struggle during this difficult time. I am releasing this while he is in surgery so that when he gets to feeling better and sees what we have done, he will be amazed at all of the people who support and care for him. I know he will be grateful, because under all of that scary outer shell is a huge heart. It's not just him we would be helping but a wonderful and loving family too. Your donation amount is not important to anyone. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. If you cannot afford anything it is completely understandable, please just share this so that the ones who can and are willing to help hear it. This year has been tough on all of us. Thank you for taking the time to hear his story.
