On Saturday 10th of May, 2025 our dear friend Luke suffered severe head injuries in an accident in Goondiwindi- he was air lifted to the PA hospital where he remains in the intensive care unit.

Luke and his wife Jess have 3 beautiful children 4,3 & 7 months old together who currently all attend daycare so both parents can work- as you can imagine, Jess has been completely overwhelmed with her life being turned upside down and the daunting truth of today’s “cost of living” is just unbearable to think about.. for Jess the reality is that she has now become the sole income for this family with the unknown outcome of Luke’s condition and his return to work or what their future may look like as a family moving forward.

Please join me in helping ease the financial stress for the gorgeous Heggie family while they navigate through this tragic unknown journey. Anything big or small is hugely appreciated & would be considerably helpful.

Any ongoing therapy Luke may need. Etc.

While we understand all of Luke’s loved ones are extremely worried and eager for updates - please be considerate of Jess during time she will update as regularly as possible. Jess has requested and would appreciate that anyone who plans on visiting check in with her prior to doing so as his condition is unknown and would like to keep him as calm as possible when he wakes up

Luke has woken from his coma as you can imagine he is extremely confused and facing a challenging road to recovery.
