A Mother Who Has Given Everything… Now Needs Us More Than Ever
12/16/25 UPDATE
While in still in much pain, mom is in better spirits! She is finally able to lift herself up from the bed, has less dizziness, and her appetite is gradually returning.
Hey jaw is completely misaligned and doctor's believe it is TMJ.. regardless, her meals have been mainly rice porridge and steamed eggs - things that don't require chewing. The main injury in her shoulder just requires time to heal.. It is on her right dominant side so it takes a lot from her.
Thank you all to who have donated
Every cent is greatly appreciated
Many blessings to you all.
My mom is 58 years old, and if you’ve ever met her, you know she is the heartbeat of our entire family. A stay-at-home wife, mother, and grandmother, she has spent her life taking care of everyone around her—quietly, selflessly, faithfully. She’s the one who shows up without being asked, who prays with you through the darkest nights, who makes a house feel like home just by being in it.
She dedicates herself to serving others. As the wife of a Navy veteran who continues to serve his fellow veterans at the VA, she has stood beside him through years of ministry—cooking for veterans with heavy hearts, opening her home to those who’ve felt forgotten, and helping my dad bring hope and healing to men and women who’ve lived through unthinkable pain. She has always been the one tending to their wounds, filling their stomachs, and reminding them—and all of us—that Jesus has not forgotten them.
Her cooking alone has brought comfort to countless people. Even the pickiest eaters clean their plates when she cooks. It’s her love language, and she pours her entire heart into it.
But today, the woman who has spent decades caring for everyone else is the one who needs help.
Recently, she suffered a terrible fall. She fractured her shoulder and dislocated her jaw—injuries that have left her in tremendous pain and unable to do the very things she loves most. And without health insurance, the hospital bills are overwhelming. We are still praying there are no further complications as she continues to be evaluated and treated.
For someone who has spent her whole life giving—and never asking for anything—it breaks our hearts to see her in this situation. She would never ask for help on her own, so we are asking on her behalf.
If my mom has ever fed you, prayed for you, comforted you, or inspired you… if her kindness, warmth, or faith has ever touched you… we humbly ask that you consider helping her now.
Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward her hospital bills and medical care. Your support will help give her the chance to heal, recover, and return to being the light she has always been to so many.
Thank you for helping us support the heart of our family
