Help the Haynie Family Rebuild Their Home

Hi y'all, I am Sarah Haynie. I have a husband, James (J.R.) Haynie, and two boys, Andrew Haynie (4) and Carter Haynie (1.5).

On Friday, September 27th, our lives were flipped upside down. We were notified that our part of town was being evacuated for a flood. We were supposed to be leaving on Friday morning for the beach. We noticed that it started to get really bad in our area, so we evacuated around 3 a.m. to J.R.'s brother's house. After about an hour and a half, Bubba's fiancée got a call from her dad that they were opening the reservoir in 10 minutes. At that point, we knew there would be no beach trip. We hurried up, got in the car, and drove down the mountain to Marion.

Once the storm passed, that's when reality hit us. We received photos and videos of our home, destroyed. Covered in mud and water on the inside and nearly unrecognizable on the outside. J.R., the boys, and I have lost everything! We are down to the clothes on our backs. All of our boys' Christmas presents are gone, our entire livelihood that we have worked so hard for, GONE.

If you could, please help us rebuild so that we can buy a new home… Our house sure wasn't much and it wasn't exactly pretty, but it was OURS. The home we brought our boys home to, the home we have raised our boys in, our first home together. I know that not everyone can donate, but if you could, PLEASE help us. If you can't, please pray!
