Help the Hatzenbuehler Family

I am lucky enough to be a good friend of Kelli and Wade’s from Wade’s hometown,  in Hebron ND. These two are the most giving people I know.  They are an inspirational couple and they have the most beautiful family,  Hannah 16, Hayden 15,  Hunter 10 and  Holton 2. Kelli and Wade have served our country for 22 and 10 years respectively. The least we can do is help with rebuilding from the devistation the floods have created for them.  Any amount helps! Thank you for your generous hearts!  Here is an explanation of what they are going through from Kelli: “There was an evacuation for our area on Saturday evening due to a levy breach. We were told that where we lived, we would be ok, but I had a gut feeling that it wouldnt be the case. Each kid packed an overnight bag and we grabbed the dogs and left. It was about 9pm. We left the horses in a round pen out front because of our back pasture flooding 2 days prior. Couldnt find a hotel but a stranger let us stay at their home in Omaha. Sometime between 2 and 7 am the water had breached the levy and went over the railroad tracks which were suppose to act like a second levy- at an additional 5-6' tall. By the time it reached our house, the water, moving at rapid force was chest height. We were able to get into the house to see the damages today. There was at least 3' of water in the crawl space. More than a foot remains. We will have to replace all the duct work and pump that water out- while trying to keep it dry so we dont get mold. In the lower level of the garage and house, the water was around 2' and left a path of destruction. The water was also 2-3' or so through the shop so we are not sure if the car, truck, mower, snowblower, etc can be salvaged. The pastures are still under water, we will need all new fencing and all my hay was destroyed. We did get 3 vehicles out and the kids personal belongings that were not in the lower level of the house are fine.”
