My name is David Harper. My wife, Lisa, and I have 5 kids: Miley, Dwayne, Colton, Dorinda, and Christopher.

2025 was a bad enough year. I was diagnosed with heart failure on April 1, 2025. I had open-heart surgery, and an LVAD (left ventricular assist device) was put in. I am battery-powered and became disabled. I had to wait 6 months to get my first check, and we have given up a lot already. The bad luck just won’t stop. On January 23, 2026, we lost everything. I mean everything. Our house burned all the way to the ground. It left us homeless, and we are still trying to cope and deal with this. My 4 kids are with friends and family. My 16-month-old is with us in a camper and stranded because of all the snow! We need help, please. Anything will help!! I am not the type of person to do this asking for help thing, but I have to. My kids are ages 15, 13, 10, 9, and 15 months. I’m 42, and my wife is 31. We were dumb and did not have renter's insurance. I lost all my medical equipment in the fire: my charging station, my walker, my treadmill to walk on for exercise, and elliptical. I would like to say thank you all, and God bless.
