Help the Harlin Family Through Medical Crisis
Donation protected
Meet the Harlins: Stephen, Nicole, and their daughter Makenzie. Stephen works as a teacher and coach at a special needs school in Roswell, Georgia, while Nicole is employed in the banking industry in North Georgia. They are excitedly preparing to welcome their second child.
On Monday, September 23rd, Nicole faced a medical emergency, during which it was discovered that she had multiple life-threatening blood clots in her heart and lungs, including a saddle pulmonary embolism. She underwent emergency surgery to remove those clots, was placed on a bypass machine to help her heart recover, and spent several days in the ICU. Thankfully, Nicole and the baby have beaten the odds, and both are now on the road to recovery. While this is amazing news, the recovery process will take months and involve numerous doctor’s appointments, therapies, and more. During this time, she won’t be able to return to work, and because of her extensive medical needs, Nicole will require help at home, transportation to appointments, and ongoing care.
As a result, Stephen will also need to take time off work to support her. We ask for your help supporting the Harlin family during this challenging time. Please consider donating and sharing this page with your friends and family to assist Stephen and Nicole on their journey to recovery.
Thank you for everything!!
