Help the Hardin Family in Their Time of Need

On behalf of the Hardin Family, we are asking for your support.
John, a loving husband to Erin Hardin and dedicated father to 6-year-old, Zeke, is facing a life-threatening medical condition.
This summer, John will undergo a critical and life-saving surgery right as their family needs to move across the country from Denver, Colorado to Tarpon Springs, Florida.
John's Medical Condition
John has been diagnosed with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH), causing severe clots in his pulmonary artery. Despite years of medication, the condition has worsened, requiring an invasive Pulmonary Thromboendarterectomy (PTE) surgery. This 8- to 10-hour procedure involves opening John’s chest and using a heart-lung bypass machine to remove the clots. Although risky, after multiple tests and screenings, John has been accepted as a good candidate for surgery and doctors are hopeful for a full recovery within a year. Because this surgery is so specialized, it is only performed in certain hospitals around the country and one of them is fortunately in Denver.
After surgery, John will spend weeks in the hospital under close watch to ensure his sternum heals properly, his heart and lungs function well, and there are no neurological issues.
Erin and Zeke will move to Florida in July for Zeke’s new school, while John stays in Colorado for recovery. Erin is committed to continue her amazing dedication to children in the Montessori classroom once in Florida. They are so thankful for the care John has received and have the utmost trust in the path they have set for John to get his quality of life back.
Financial Needs
As you can imagine, starting over in a new place with half of your team sidelined can be stressful and overwhelming. Currently the Hardin's combined salaries aren't enough to cover the mounting expenses. In recent months, John has been unable to work due to his condition and upcoming surgery. This will continue for a time until he is healed and given the go ahead from doctors to return to work.
If you know John, you know he is the epitome of strength with a healthy dose of tenderness. As a parent of a child with a severe bleeding disorder, John is accustomed to being the supporter of the patient, sitting next to the hospital bed, and administering medical treatments. The last few years, and the last 12 months in particular, have reversed these roles and challenged John, both physically and emotionally.
Financial needs include:
Medical Costs: They are expecting multiple insurance deductibles (due to moving states) and high supplementary insurance costs to access COBRA while John is unable to work.
Follow-Up Visits: There are to be follow up appointments at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months post-op. Each visit will have to include cross country flights and weeklong hotel stays.
Living Expenses: Because the nature of this surgery is so intense, John is expected to be out of work for months.
