Hey everyone, the 2023 Harbor Hawk season is right around the corner! For those of you who don't know, the entire Cape Cod Baseball League is a non-profit organization. The Harbor Hawks run solely on grants, team sponsors, gate donations, merchandise and food sales etc. to sustain our organization. Everyone who works for the organization is a volunteer, and works year-round out of pure passion for the team and the community! No one takes home a penny!
With the season coming up quickly, we are calling on you, our community and our fans, to help achieve our financial goals and put on the best season yet for our players, fans, and the village of Hyannis!
Last year, with your help, we were able to greatly upgrade our broadcast equipment. This year we hope to put your generous contributions to great use in the following ways:
- Bats/balls/field supplies (our bats cost $75 and we went through 100 last season) We are committed to bringing in MLB quality wood that helps our players perform in front of the many scouts in attendance)
- New uniforms/hats/socks/belts
- Various events (host family appreciation night, intern appreciation night)
- Player activities (team BBQs, charter fishing trip, mini golf, trip to national seashore)
- Intern program (uniforms, upgraded equipment, guest speakers)
- Game day signs (gameday signs to put up the city, host parent signs to help attract new host families)
- Merchandise (we want to continue to provide you with the best quality hoodies, hats, t-shirts etc)
- Theme night decorations
All donations are greatly appreciated, and we hope to see you at the park this summer! Go Hawks!
