Help Bill Hamm and Family Rebuild After Devastating Wildfires

Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

My name is Bill Hamm, and my family and I have recently experienced a heartbreaking triple tragedy due to the Palisades Fire. On January 8th, the fire swept through our lives, leaving devastation in its wake.

First, the home my wife, Darlene, and our sons, William and Jared, cherished for 29 years was completely destroyed. We had to evacuate with nothing but the clothes on our backs, losing everything—our family photos, cherished gifts, musical instruments, and even our laptops.

As if that weren’t enough, my place of work, the Will Rogers Ranchhouse Museum, was also lost to the flames, leaving me without employment. To add to the heartbreak, our church, Pali Presbyterian, where I have served as an elder, burned to the ground as well.

The weight of this loss is overwhelming, but we are incredibly grateful to have survived with our lives—that is what truly matters most. Now, as we look for a place to stay and begin the daunting process of rebuilding, we’re turning to our community for support.
