Douglas Lothenbach is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Angela Hamil.
My name is Doug Lothenbach and I am starting this fundraiser to help my good friend Dave Hamil and his wife, Angie, pay for the innumerable bills that they have, and will incur as a result of Dave's medical condition. Dave was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and has been at the Mayo clinic undergoing treatment the last few weeks. Many of the medical bills they have are not covered by his insurance and there are myriad other needs they will have as Dave continues his fight against this foe.
Besides being an all-around nice guy known to many for his bigger-than-life personality and generosity, Dave is well known to the volleyball community as an International Beach Volleyball Scorekeeper, a highly regarded USAV National Referee and as a long time youth volleyball coach who donated countless hours to coaching youth volleyball and helped establish the Minnesota North Volleyball program in Duluth, MN.
