UPDATE: Thank you so so much everyone for your generosity. The money our family and community was able to raise meant that Mom was able to have round the clock care before she passed. The Hakes family is raising funds for caretakers to keep Mom (Mary) comfortable at this difficult part in her cancer journey. Having caretakers is a huge support to the family so they can enjoy remaining time with Mom and ensure Mom is as comfortable and supported as possible. Any amount would be appreciated.
