Help the Hairstons Rebuild After Hurricane Helene

My name is Shelby Hairston. Our family has been severely impacted by the effects of Hurricane Helene in Henderson County. Both myself and my parents had our homes flood. My parents and I lost almost all of our belongings and family heirlooms. This disaster has taken a toll on our financial stability, and we’re reaching our for support from our community, friends and family. The money raised will be used for the cleanup and rebuilding costs associated with the flood damage that are not covered by FEMA Assistance.

Any contributions will be split between my parents and myself with any unused funds going to other local survivors and charities in need. Thank you for your kindness and support during this challenging time.

Update: We have decided to increase our original goal from $1,500 to $20,000, as we have come to realize that the financial impact on our two households is greater than we initially anticipated.
