If you’ve walked through the doors at 20/20 Eyecare of London at any point over the past 12 years, chances are you’ve encountered Brandy. She’s the heart of our reception team and the go-to person for everything that helps keep things running smoothly for the rest of the office. Brandy isn’t just a coworker—she’s become family to many of us, and a familiar, reliable presence to countless patients.

Like many in our community, Merle, Brandy, and their daughter Emily, lost everything in the tornado that struck London, KY, on Friday night. In the midst of this devastation, we’ve been deeply moved by the incredible outpouring of support from those who have shown up to help with sorting, cleanup, and storage needs. We’re so thankful for this village of people rallying around them.

While they are fortunate to have home insurance, we all know the delays involved in receiving those funds—and how much rebuilding truly costs in today’s world.
