Hello everyone,

On the evening of September 13th, 2025, my best friend's little brother, Ben, was at a friend's house celebrating his birthday in the backyard. A random man ran up to Ben from a dark, wooded area and stabbed Ben in the neck leaving multiple wounds. No one at his birthday party knew this man.

Ben was rushed to the hospital and received emergency surgery including blood transfusions. Ben was placed in the ICU on a ventilator. A first responder told Ben that they almost lost him in transport. The family is praising God that Ben is alive and improving after this horrific, unprovoked attack. His recovery is a miracle!

The Haas family is one of the sweetest, kindest, and most loving families I have ever met. They do not deserve to go through this.

I am creating this Go Fund Me account to raise funds that will help cover medical, therapy, legal, and any unexpected costs that will come on Ben's road to recovery.
