Darren Adamko, the guy who helps everyone else

Hi everybody.

I am sure everyone has a Darren story they can tell.

Whether we know him from the mine as a Surveyor, Candle Lake on the water in the summer or sledding in the winter, or likely through family. Always willing to give anyone a hand, building decks and fences in his spare time. (NO idea how many decks and fences the man has built, and not sure I would believe it!) You can always hear him coming, laughing and joking with anyone who can keep up with him. I don't know anyone who has as much positive energy as Darren.

Everyone who is reading this know Darren, Lori, Dawson, Evan and Delaney in some way.

And now for the unfair news. Darren was finally diagnosed this spring with Pancreatic Cancer after months of weight loss and misdiagnoses. He has been fighting ever since like he always does, all out and with a positive attitude, and worrying more about others than himself. But it is time for us to help his wife and kids not have to shoulder the load alone.

We started this GoFund Me to help out with the expenses of treatments and general living costs while on leave to fight this menace. Let's show what we are capable of and help our friends at this time!
