Help Jessica & family through a Medical Crisis

Hello, my name is Erika and I’m starting this fundraiser on behalf of my sister Jessica and her family. Her husband Alex was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive brain tumor, turning their lives upside down in an instant.

On May 12, Alex was taken to San Francisco for a complex brain surgery that lasted over nine hours. Tragically, during the procedure he experienced severe complications and had to undergo an emergency second surgery due to a major brain bleed. Since then Alex has been in the ICU, placed on a ventilator, and was in critical condition. Although his condition is now stable, he is still facing many challenges.

Throughout this entire situation, Jessica has not left Alex’s side. She has taken unpaid leave from work and is staying in San Francisco to be close to him, while also trying to care for their 11-year-old son at home. The financial strain is mounting quickly, with hotel stays, hospital bills, travel, and household bills all adding up.
