Help the Grossmans

Hi. My name is Veronica Grossman. I am a Truck Driver and the primary source of income for myself and my husband, Mark. Mark is on disability, so he gets a small disability check each month. My truck is in the shop, and I am told they cannot get to it until June 13th, 2021. Until then, I am shut down because it is undrivable. I have also been suffering from a bad hip and need hip surgery. I have taken steps to help me get in and out of my truck so that I can continue work by hiring a young girl to help me. I have gotten to the point where she has to put my feet up onto the steps, and I stay in the truck until the end of the workday, where she then helps me get out. I am getting to a point where I don't know how much longer I can do this. As an owner-operator, I donnot get paid time off, as well as I must pay for all the repairs to the truck, which can be pretty costly. I hate asking for money, but at this point, I feel as though I have no choice.
