Hi we are Ed & Jennifer Ketcham and we are trying to raise money to help the Groff family. Joe and his wife Nachelle have 2 wonderful children Josh (17) and Wyatt (15) and their Labrador Lucy who is 7. Joe & Nachelle have been married for over 20 years and have been part of the Delano community for over 14 years. The family is engaged in the hockey community and love the outdoors, lacrosse, tennis, golf and mountain biking. Joe is a loving father and husband and never quits on anything put in front of him.

On Tuesday December 28th, Joe was outside shoveling the driveway like he always does. His wife, Nachelle went to check on him and something didn't seem right. While speaking to Joe, he slowly fell to the ground and panic set in quickly. Joe was having difficulty breathing and Nachelle quickly called 911 for EMS. Joe was struggling to breathe and he had difficulty speaking as his chest began to tighten. Joe stopped breathing and had no pulse as he was in cardiac arrest. Nachelle began CPR in the driveway and began to pray as medics arrived on scene. 1st responders took over and began performing life saving procedures on Joe. Medics were able to resuscitate Joe and get him ready for transport. Joe was transported to Abbot Hospital where he was placed in a medical induced coma.

Joe is still currently in the ICU and he is a fighter and on recovery he will continue to fight the good fight. The Groff's have been blessed with enormous support from the community with their prayers. The Groff family thanks you for your support and blessings.
