I am one of the daughters of Mike & Gina Griggs. I am doing this for my parents because in our lives they have done A LOT for us kids. They took care of us when no one else was there, and I want to do what I can to help them. Our parents didn't have to do what they did for us, but they did by giving me and my siblings a forever home, a safe place, and teaching us what love really is. They have always made sure we never went without, even when they did. They would always give to us and to the community their time, money, and home to us kids and others over the years. They have helped so many when needed, and now it's time to help them.

Our Mommy found out on October 26, 2025, that she has a mass on her right kidney. She has been to four different urologists now, and three of the four have said it is CANCER. They both are having to miss a lot of work going to and from doctor appointments. Now, she is going to UVA for biopsies in the next few weeks. Then back in ten days for a meeting with the doctors to make a game plan. They will need money for hotels, food, gas, and most of all to pay what the insurance won't pay. They have sold just about all they can to help pay the bills at home, even trying to sell Mommy's birthday present, her Camaro that PaPaw built, to pay the bills (with no luck). They don't know what they are going to do because now they have to pay another deductible of $8,000.00 for this coming year. They have always done so much for others and have never asked for anything from anyone. So, I am asking for help for my parents. If you can't help, please just remember my family in your thoughts and prayers.
