Just six months ago, the Griffith Family - Matt, Jen, Haley, and Luke were preparing for Luke's Confirmation and 8th Grade Graduation when they received the unexpected diagnosis that Matt had stage 4 inoperable lung cancer. The diagnosis came just a few weeks after running a 1/2 marathon and being in the best shape of his life.

Despite aggressive treatment and clinical trials, the cancer spread like wild fire. He spent a significant amount of time hospitalized, with Jen by his side every day and night.

Matt fought bravely over the last six months and awed us all with his resilience and strength.

So many have reached out wanting to show love and support to the family as they endure this unthinkable loss. We are starting this fund to help ease the financial stress of this devastating loss. Our goal is to support the Griffith family’s immediate needs as they adjust to life without Matt. Additionally, we hope to contribute to a more secure future for the kids, including setting up funds for their long-term needs.
