Help the Gregan's with their surrogacy journey

Hi ya’ll! Most of you aren’t aware, but my good friends Derek and Brittany (Covert) Gregan, have been battling quite the fight since April 2022. Brittany was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer HER 2+. She has gone through 6 rounds of chemo, followed by a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery. Brittany is currently doing maintenance treatments of one chemo drug every 3 weeks until September. This is to up her chances of the cancer not coming back. During this time, Brittany has taken time off from work and they have been living off of Derek’s salary alone. Less than a year before getting diagnosed, Brittany and Derek had just moved back home from Washington state where Derek was stationed in the navy. They had just started to try to have a baby when their world got turned upside down. Brittany was able to freeze some embryos before starting treatments. Anyone who knows this couple knows just how anxious they are to start a family of their own. Brittany is not able to get pregnant until at a minimum of 5 years after treatments, and even then it is unlikely she will be able to. Derek’s sister, Chelsea, has been SO GENEROUS to offer to be their surrogate using their embryos. Derek and Brittany have started the process of starting their own family, but they need some help. Obviously, financially this is not going to be cheap- especially after all the medical expenses they have been taking care of on their own for the last year. Anyone who knows Derek and Brittany know they are some of the most caring and generous humans that would help out anyone they knew in a heartbeat. If you are able to donate anything at all to help the Gregan’s it would be oh so appreciated! If you aren’t able to donate- please keep them, along with Chelsea and her family, in your thoughts and prayers for a safe/healthy pregnancy and for Brittany to continue to kick cancers butt <3
