Greenstreet is a local name that is recognizable by many. They are a family in Lothian, with a family-owned business that opened it's doors in 2000. Ray, Stacy, and their 3 children make up the family that brought us Greenstreet Gardens. Greenstreet is the place we go to kick off fall. It is the place we go to make memories with our families on the bounce pillow, the underground slide, and the hayride. It is the place we watch plastic Easter Eggs fall from a helicopter, creating huge smiles and happiness in children and adults. It is the place teenagers go for their first real job. It is the place we go to gather the materials and receive the guidance needed for our gardens, to create bright and beautiful spaces around our homes. It is a space where many have grown a career. Greenstreet collects food for our local food banks, supports our schools and youth programs. Greenstreet has opened their doors for space to house events to benefit the community and the chamber. Greenstreet has supported first responders including the fire department, police, EMS, and military. They honor our local teachers and those that support our children. They have shared the world of agriculture through many programs, events, and collaborations over the past 25+ years. They have supported other local businesses by bringing people into the area for agritourism. They have mentored, provided advice, and lent a helping hand. Ray Greenstreet has suffered a major medical emergency and is currently undergoing treatment for mental illness. Mental health can impact anyone, and this is no different.
