Help the Graehlings

In January of 2014, John and Jan Graehling took a hard hit; John had a major ischemic stroke, rendering him unable to care for himself. This is the type of stroke that blocks a blood vessel, cutting oxygen off from a portion of the brain until that area stops functioning.
Because John needs round-the-clock care, Jan had to leave her job to become his full-time caregiver. They now survive on John's disability checks.

To anyone that grew up with Jan Dexheimer Graehling, you know that there were never any regrets about her new occupation. Jan took John to the unending stream of doctor's appointments and emergency room visits. Even when Jan was diagnosed with breast cancer the following year and underwent radiation treatment, she was still John's rock and continued to provide him with all the necessary care. Thankfully, Jan remained upbeat and positive, and she is now in recession. However, rehab therapy and hospital stays were still in the cards for John, and they continue to be a part of his routine.

Unfortunately, the bills are currently starting to take over their finances. Meeting insurance deductibles are an ongoing battle for this couple, and theirs doubled over 2016. They were hit hard already this year with the full cost of prescriptions until their deductible was met, and at the same time, their automobile needed extensive suspension repair work to keep it safe forJohn to get back and forth to his healthcare appointments. In addition, he currently needs two absessed teeth extracted. And for the icing on the cake, they must move at the end of June to a more affordable residence. At this point, there is no money left to make any of this happen.

If you know the Graehlings, you know how kind and thoughtful these two always are. They would both give you the shirts off their backs if they were able to do so. So at this point, I am asking that you find it in your hearts to help with a contribution. A little money from multiple sources can go a long way when you are in their type of predicament. Won't you please help?
