Help Our Cute Family Keep Our Cute House!

We were so excited in January when Adam got his dream job helping neurodivergent kids at a hospital! It barely paid enough to survive but it seemed like there'd be years of stability and promotions ahead of us.

Then when I found my seemingly awesome part time job at a cool witchy local business in April we really thought it was going to be smooth sailing with maybe a bit more than just surviving. I told the kids it was going to be the best summer ever!

The same day I started working, Adam was harmed on the job. Three out of the four Drs he was made to see told him he could not work. He hasn't worked since April. L&I has only been giving us 64% of his income. Not nearly enough to survive.

Now they're denying his claim bc one out of the four doctors is telling them to. He wanted to go back work in some capacity, but they literally told him not to. Make it make sense.

My ex boss isn't going to pay me for the last 7 days I worked. (edit Adam communicated our intent to use legal action so I might get some of what she owes me) She's notoriously a bad boss, but I thought I could handle it. She found new ways to mentally and emotionally abuse me that i didn't know were possible.

Constant gaslighting. I could write a novel about her abuse but I'm so tired.

We need help.

We thought we could figure it out but we're 700 short on rent. (edit: paid July rent thanks to donations, woo hoo!) All of our credit cards are maxed and in collections. We're behind on everything.

We're calling on our awesome community!

Edit: Adam will be going back to work on the 24th, but we still need some help to get us through to his first paycheck
