My husband just got out of the Army, and our family is on a long journey from our last duty station in Washington state to our new home in Georgia. Unfortunately, our SUV broke down in Montana, leaving us stranded far from where we need to be. Several large mechanical issues have come up, and we’re now facing the difficult decision of whether to try to fly or rent a car to get home. We’ve already spent a lot on this situation, and we’re not sure what will happen next.

The funds raised for this trip will go directly toward paying the mechanic, securing a rental car or flights for our family of five and our two cats, and making sure we can all get home safely. This journey has been much harder than we ever expected, especially after my husband’s years of service and deployment. We’re doing everything we can, but right now, we need a little extra help.
