Help the Givens family through Coach Matt's recovery

For anyone who knows Coach Matt, you know that next to his love for his family and being there for them for everything is the passion he has for coaching. Coach Matt has given many hours, days, weekends, months and years to coaching anyone who wanted to learn, especially if it was baseball.

Unfortunately, Coach Matt has been in an accident that has crushed the right side of his face. The shattering of the bone on the right side has also caused internal bleeding behind the eye. The doctors are unable to fix the damage but have transferred Matt to be hospitalized 4 hours away from his family, where specialists can at least attempt to save his eye.

Due to the injury, they say Coach Matt may not be able to coach again. The amount of time of hospitalization and the number of surgeries as of right now is still unknown to the family due to being separated so far from them and they will get the information as it comes in from the hospital. Unfortunately, that means bills will be expensive and many; he is unable to work, help provide, or care for his family at this time, leaving Maria to take it all on her own.

The family is kindly asking friends, family, and anyone who knows or knew Coach Matt for prayers and support in this time as the family navigates the distance to be there for him as well as the responsibilities that had to be put aside for the time that he is away and unable as the priority shifts to his recovery ❤️‍
