Help the Girls to Help

Norma, Sherlyn, Michelle, Julissa, and Edelin are five amazing, hardworking leaders in their school and community. Each one of these 8th graders have  ambitious goals in their life. They come from different backgrounds and low income households but they share the same dream;  to make a difference in the World. That's why they enrolled in the Educational Trip to Puerto Rico. During the trip, they will have the opportunity to provide Community Service, emergency backpacks for the affected families after the earthquakes, build a community garden, and immerse themselves in learning about the history and rich culture of Puerto Rico. This opportunity will help them expand their cultural awareness and is one step closer to fulfill their goal of making a difference in the World. 

         This Educational Trip will take place from April 4th to April 11th. The total cost is $1,900 per participant. That amount will cover flight, hotel, food, transportation, and cultural/natural experiences. All your donations will make a huge impact. The raised money will be a scholarship fund to help them reach their goal. The deadline to make the last payment is March 4th and the girls are struggling to meet their goal.  Norma, Sherlyn, Michelle, Julissa, Edelin, their families and me will be deeply grateful for your support and for any contribution that you can make.
