Help the Gillettes Recover from Devastating Crash

Our beloved friend and midwife, Tiffany Gillette, was in a traumatic car accident on 8/13/2024. Herself, her husband, and their 3 sons were traveling to their annual vacation in Maine. They were 2 hours away from their destination when they were rear-ended by a semi, spun, hit the guard rails, and then hit by a van. They were miraculously 20 minutes from a level 1 Children's trauma center. Herself, Rich, and Dakota are bruised with soft tissue damage. Gideon (their youngest) was admitted with a head laceration and a pelvic fracture but does not require surgery. Alexander (their middle son), is in critical condition. He needed a 10-hour pelvic reconstruction surgery, he has a grade 5 spleen laceration, bilateral pneumothorax, multiple breaks, and he needed many transfusions. He will also need jaw reconstruction when he is more stable. He will be non-weight bearing for 3 months and will need to be in a wheelchair. The doctors have said that no other Gillette would have survived where Alexander was sitting. Alexander's height is what saved his life.

Tiffany has said the care they are receiving is exceptional. She also stated they will need to be there at least 3 weeks. Tiffany is broken and is requesting prayers.
