Help Us Get a Safety Bed for Our Child With Severe Autism

We are reaching out today with something that is very difficult for us to ask, but incredibly important for our son’s safety and well-being. Our child has severe autism, and as he gets older, his sleep and nighttime behaviors have become more unpredictable and sometimes dangerous. He often wakes throughout the night, wanders, climbs, and puts himself at risk without understanding the danger around him.

We’ve been doing everything we can to keep him safe - baby gates, alarms, special locks, but nothing has truly worked.

After speaking with his doctors and therapists, we were recommended a specialized safety bed designed for children with severe autism and other developmental needs, but insurance has denied all requests and appeals three separate times!

This bed provides a secure, calming environment that prevents nighttime wandering, reduces injuries, and helps him finally get the restful sleep he desperately needs.

Unfortunately, these beds are extremely expensive, and they are rarely covered by insurance. For our family, the cost is simply more than we can manage on our own.

We are hoping to raise enough to purchase this safety bed and give our son the safe, secure space he needs to sleep without danger!

It will not only protect him physically but also bring peace of mind to our family and improve his overall quality of life.
