The Ghobbuls Project:

Quiet Guardians for Difficult Times. The Ghobbuls are guardian angel–like beings that grew as my life became more difficult.

They are not loud or dramatic. They stay.

Life does not always go the way we hope.

It can be harsh, unfair, and overwhelming.

Yet even in my most challenging moments, I survived by creating.

That is still true today.

And it was the Ghobbuls who kept telling me:

“Never lose hope.”

Many people who see my artwork say,

“What happy creatures!”

Some tell me the images make them feel lighter, calmer, or quietly understood.

But the Ghobbuls are not just cheerful characters.

They carry memories of hardship, resilience, and the gentle strength needed to keep going.

Why this project matters

I want to complete The Ghobbuls Project.

Through books, visual stories, and art-therapy–inspired resources,

I aim to create materials that allow me to speak with many people—

and to share this journey of reflection, healing, and hope.

The Ghobbuls first appeared to me in 2018.

During the COVID years, they settled deeply into my life and continued to grow.

Along the way, I studied the psychology of art therapy

and spent six months in a Zen monastery.

These experiences deepened the healing spirit that lives within the Ghobbuls.

They are not about escaping reality—

They are about staying present, even when life is complicated.

Even so, I want to continue.

Sadly, my savings were stolen through fraud.

Despite this loss, I do not want to abandon this work.

I believe the Ghobbuls are not only for me.

They can become a quiet doorway for others

to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves.

Every person who joins brings this project one step closer to completion.
