Help the Geis Family Recover from Tragic Accident

Support the Geis Family
With an urgent and heartfelt request to support the Geis family during an incredibly difficult time. On Sunday, June 8, 2025, a tragic freak accident occurred when a vehicle lift malfunctioned, causing a truck to fall and pin both John and Bethany underneath it. They were careflighted to Texas Methodist, both suffering multiple injuries.
John is currently undergoing back surgery for a shattered vertebra in his lower back, which is causing significant problems. He will also require surgery on his right ankle and foot. Bethany, who is a few months pregnant with baby John, has been confirmed to have two broken vertebrae in her back. Doctors are still developing a plan for her treatment, and we are awaiting more answers regarding her condition. We are grateful to share that baby John does have a strong heartbeat, and we are praying for his continued well-being. This will undoubtedly be a long road to recovery for the entire family. We ask that you please keep them in your prayers, as we know they are in the good Lord's hands.
UPDATE:
The Geis family is now home, but their recovery continues to be challenging. John spends most of his time in bed due to pain and still requires personal assistance for walking. He is scheduled to have a rod removed from his foot this week and will also follow up with his neurosurgeon regarding his lower vertebrae surgery. Bethany is still experiencing a lot of pain and must wear a back brace and use a walker for assistance. During a recent visit with her OB, it was confirmed that baby John has a strong heartbeat and is doing great. Bethany has a follow-up appointment with her neurosurgeon at the end of July for her back. Both John and Bethany have been ordered to avoid lifting anything over 5 lbs and are unable to drive.
As many of you know, John has always been a hardworking man who provides for his family as a structural welder. This is a physically demanding job, and unfortunately, he will not be able to return to work anytime soon due to his injuries. The financial burden of medical expenses and lost income will be immense for this young family.
I am asking for any and all donations to help alleviate this financial strain as they focus on their recovery. Your generosity, no matter the amount, would be greatly appreciated and would make a significant difference in their lives.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
