Hey y’all,
A lot of you don’t know what our family has been going through these past few months, but we’re finally ready to share our story and ask for help.
On March 24, 2025, our lives changed forever. My husband suffered a massive heart attack due to a blockage in his main artery. Doctors had to urgently insert a balloon through his thigh into his femoral artery and place three stents to save his life. During this procedure, built-up plaque likely traveled to his brain, causing multiple strokes. One of the strokes affected his vision, and now he lives with permanent “floaters” behind his eyes.
Just when we thought he was on the mend, things took another turn. On April 4, he was released from the hospital, only to be readmitted a week later due to pneumonia. Thankfully, he has been rereleased, but we are still navigating a very long road to recovery.
My husband is the main provider for our family, and now, with him unable to work, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. Medical bills, follow-up care, and everyday living expenses are piling up faster than we can keep up.
We are humbly reaching out to ask for any support you can give. No amount is too small, and every donation helps lift some of this weight off our shoulders.
If you’re not in a place to give, we understand—your prayers, love, and shares mean just as much to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story. We’re so grateful for any support, in any form.
With love,
The Garza family
