It is with shattered hearts that we share that our precious son, Jacob, has finished his fight with cancer.

Jacob faced this journey with incredible courage and strength. We are so unbelievably proud of him. If you knew Jacob, you knew he had the biggest heart and a wonderful smile that could light up any room. The world feels a little darker without his beautiful soul in it.

While the pain of losing him is more than we can put into words, we are comforted knowing that Jacob is now in Jesus’s arms and is healed, whole, and no longer in pain. We hold tightly to the promise that we will see him again one day when we are reunited in heaven.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, and walked beside our family throughout this six-month journey. We have felt your love in ways we will never be able to fully express.

We ask for continued prayers as we grieve this unimaginable loss. We especially ask for extra prayers for Canaan, who not only lost his brother, but his very best friend.

We will share more details about honoring Jacob’s life in the coming days.
