The Garcia family experienced a heartbreaking tragedy: their beloved home was completely destroyed by the Eaton fire that struck tragedy in the Altadena community. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but they lost everything—clothing, furniture, cherished memories, and the home they worked so hard to build.

This tragedy has been especially difficult for Carlitos, the Garcia’s young son who is autistic. The sudden change in his environment and the loss of the home and routines he relied on have been incredibly overwhelming for him. The family is in urgent need of support not only to meet their basic needs like food, clothing, and temporary housing, but also to ensure Carlitos has access to the specialized care, therapies, and tools he needs to feel safe and supported during this time of upheaval.
