Hello, our names are Faith Best and Jessica Johnson, and we are reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Janicza Garcia and her husband. With a heavy heart, we share the heartbreaking news that their beloved son, Isaiah Yarden Garcia, passed away at just 7 years old.

On July 19, 2017 Chris and Janicza Garcia were blessed with a living miracle in their son Isaiah Yarden Garcia who was the youngest of 6 siblings. With infinite love surrounding him and unwavering devotion, and support, his family nurtured, nourished and watched him grow.

Though Isaiah had his fair share of difficulties as he was born with Global developmental delay and suffered severe neurological challenges, that did not stop him from loving, laughing, and bringing light to all those around him.

Isaiah was a fighter whose life was a testament to the power of faith, hope and love, with the greatest of these being love. To see the fight in him each time he pulled through a significant health challenge with the help of God, was to have one’s faith increased.

To see him smile was to be filled with hope and to know him was to love him. It was also to be loved in a way that could truly be felt in its purest form.

Isaiah was a blessing in the lives of everyone who knew him and he will truly be missed. He leaves behind a grieving family: his devoted parents and five siblings.

Janicza is a full-time, stay-at-home mother who has poured her heart and soul into raising all six of her children, including Isaiah. Her days have been filled with love — teaching, cooking, cleaning, and caring for her family with unwavering dedication. Her husband is the sole provider for the family, and while he works tirelessly to meet their daily needs, the financial strain of a loss like this is beyond what any one family can bear alone.

We are asking — as a community, as friends, and as fellow believers — for your help. Your generosity will go directly toward helping the Garcia family lay Isaiah to rest, covering funeral and burial expenses, and offering a measure of relief in this time of deep sorrow.

Let’s come together to lift this incredible family up in love and support. While we cannot take away the pain of their loss, we can ease part of the burden they are carrying.
