We’ve kept our doors open for 3 years—now we need your help to keep going.

We’re Ameela and Armani, two young Black women who took a leap of faith and opened The Gallery Beauty Supply three years ago. We created this space for inclusion for everyone can feel comfortable, represented, and supported while shopping for their beauty needs. This store is more than a business to us it’s a beauty hub for our community.

But if we’re being real, it hasn’t been easy. With limited funding, we’ve had to learn and grow while trying to keep up. At times, it’s made it hard to fully stock our shelves and operate the way we know we can. After three years, we understand our business—we just need support to get ahead instead of constantly catching up.

How Your Support Helps

This fundraiser will help us stabilize our storefront, continue operating in the space we’ve built, and move forward with consistency instead of constantly trying to catch up. We are currently working against an April 30th deadline to keep our business location, and support during this time is critical for us to remain open and continue serving our community without interruption. It will also help us continue growing our in-store beauty hub and improve inventory so we can better meet the needs of our customers with the products they rely on every day.

Since opening, we’ve applied for grants and funding opportunities but haven’t had success yet. Still, we’ve continued to push forward and show up for our community every day. Trying to keep a small business like this running without strong funding has been challenging, but we’re not giving up on what we’ve built.
