Help Keaghan in his fight against Leukemia

Donation protected
On September second, 2022, Keaghan Norring was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He was admitted to the Princess Margaret Cancer Research Center in Toronto from St Catherine’s where he was in his 4th year at Brock University. His parents, Ken and Deneen, flew from PEI to be with him.

Keaghan is starting four weeks of chemotherapy while staying in hospital in Toronto. Three more phases of care will follow, the 2nd being a 30-week cycle of treatment involving travel to Toronto or Halifax, if able to transfer home to PEI after phase one. Ken and Deneen are taking turns supporting him in Toronto, as they try to maintain some normalcy for their other son Rowan, home in grade nine on PEI.

Keaghan’s cancer is treatable and curable, but he has a long road ahead of him, as this will be a two-to-three-year process. It will also be a costly one for the family, given the travel, accommodation and daily expenses in Toronto or eventually, Halifax.

Keaghan’s ability to work himself will be limited for the next few years as well. He is really hoping to complete his degree at Brock next year, but much will depend on how things progress.

This GoFundMe has been set up to support the family’s mounting costs associated with getting Keaghan on the road to recovery. Any help you can provide will be so very much appreciated!
