The Galindez family is the third of three families that lost everything in the devastating fire on December 2nd on Melville Ave. The family is composed of mom + three recent NHS graduates (class of 2022, 2023, 2024).

This GoFundMe is being set up to help raise funds to replace additional items that were lost that cannot be covered by gift cards, as well as raise money to cover first, last, and deposit on a new apartment once one is found, and assist with emergency housing placement. As you can imagine, losing everything can be extremely overwhelming, and community support can go a long way.

Since they are in temporary housing, they don’t have space to store a lot of physical donations or new furniture at this point. Additional resources such as New Life Furniture, Clothing donations, etc… will be accessed in coming months.
