Help the Funniest Guy We Know Heal & Laugh Again

We are raising funds for my beloved dad, Jayesh Desai, who was in the ICU in Zimbabwe. This emergency stems from complications related to surgery he had last year. In 2024, we flew him to India for three vascular related surgeries, and after returning home, he has faced ongoing health challenges. Two weeks ago, he was admitted in the ICU due to severe bleeding caused by a dangerous aneurysm in his left leg. After initial treatment at Mater Dei Hospital in Bulawayo, he had to be rushed by emergency ambulance to Milton Park Medical in Harare — the only facility with a vascular surgeon available to perform the critical surgery he needed. He has since undergone emergency procedures to control the bleeding and stabilize his condition.

My dad is truly the life of the party — the kind of person who lives to make others laugh and bring joy wherever he goes. He has spent his life lifting others up with humor, love, and kindness. Unfortunately, my dad does not have medical insurance, so all expenses — from the ambulance transfer to the ICU care and surgery — are being paid out of pocket. This has placed an overwhelming financial burden on our family.
